Area rugs could be selected based upon the requirement of the room. It is recommended to choose the rug first and then fill the room accordingly. This gives more freedom on the choice of the rugs you can use. But if you already have items in the room then a blend of colors that goes well should be selected. Though, one advantage of woolen rug is that they keep away dust and fluid not giving a chance to be immersed into the fiber. They could be dyed easily and this gives a variety of lush colors to select from. Cotton rugs are also used but they are of lesser weight and wear and tear is more when compared to woolen rugs.
Man woven rugs are expensive when compared to synthetic machine made rugs. Rugs woven by men are highly durable and can be used in places more frequented. They come in radiant colors and could be cleaned easily. Though, many people are using synthetic rugs to woolen rugs, since they are cheap and more attractive. Some dealers mix synthetic with wool to make profits, so please be cautious of these duplicates.
